Thermolight

Thermolight polycarbonate panels can be integrated quickly, easily and economically into roof constructions made of trapezoidal sheets or profiled sandwich panels. Due to flexible sizes and possible uses, these systems allow a large variety of design. The transparent glazing systems are suitable for straight and partially curved applications. Despite their light appearance, Rodeca Thermolight panels are extremely weather-resistant – even against hail.

Questions and answers
about our translucent building elements.

The choice of the right element for Thermolight panels dependends on the fit with the adjacent component. We have numerous options to customize the shape of our panels to your component. Feel free to contact us and let us advise you.

In many fire protection concepts Rodeca panels are applied as a meltable surface in accordance with DIN 18230-1, because the melting temperature of polycarbonate is below 300°C.

The light transmission of our products is expressed as a percentage – from 0% to 100%.
Depending on the colouring and choice of product, these values differ. Thinner products in a crystalline colouring allow much more light to pass through than thicker products in a dark colouring, for example. Light-diffusing colourations such as opal colours, or even matte surfaces can also let a lot of diffuse light into the building.

Our products have more than one lifetime.
Thanks to our sophisticated technologies, facades and roofs made of polycarbonate can be converted back into moldable granules after use. Recycled by global value cycles, it can be incorporated into new products worldwide.
